Mustang Endurance athletes were in fine form this weekend competing in Bellingham and Victoria.
Western Washington University (WWU) was host to the Western Washington Classic XC on Saturday the 12th of October. Mustang athletes Nathan Wadhwani and James Lam raced in a very competitive Men’s 10km section. Wadhwani pushed the opening pace and finished strongly to take a fine 6th position in 32:00.5. James Lam produced a solid season opener finishing 16th place in 32:40.3.

In Victoria the Mustang Endurance trio of Sarah Inglis, Lindsay Carson and Ally Ginther competed in the Goodlife Fitness 8km. The ladies produced a brilliant performance placing 1st, 2nd and 4th overall only being seperated by Olympian Maor Tiyouri in 3rd position. Inglis won in a new course record of 25:43. Carson finished in 27:32 closely followed by Ginther in 27:49.

Next up for the team will be BC Cross Country Championships being held at Beaver Lake, Vancouver Island on Saturday 26th of October.
